A permanent cosmetics artist will be using (or should be using) an iron oxide or a titanium Dioxide, and will only go just under the epidermis with much more gentle and precision equipment. I use the Neauvou Contour Digital equipment and stay current with all the new techniques and standards used by the American Academy of Micropigmentation and The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals...
I had a lady that was out of contact with me for two months after her brow procedure. I was so concerned because I knew she needed to come in for her follow up. When she finally called me I asked her why I hadn't heard from her and she responded " well I've been in the Gallapagos Islands diving with my husband and the feeling I had knowing my brows were on was so freeing it allowed me to just forget about that and enjoy our trip.
Another lady told me that she had not gone in the water or gone fly fishing with her husband (his favorite pass time) for years because she was so worried about keeping up with her brows. After I did her brows and eyeliner she said she felt more like a companion to her husband again.
When I did brows and eyeliner for a 16 year old alopecia patient, she was so happy her mother started to cry. The mother later told me that her daughter was not obsessed with checking her makeup any more and was much more at ease with herself and her friends.
These kinds of reactions I have received many times
I LOVE WHAT I DO!
