About Permanent Cosmetics

What is Permanent Cosmetics?
Permanent cosmetics also known as Micropigmentation or cosmetic tattoo, consists of implanting natural pigments ( the preferred being iron oxides or titanium dioxide) under the superficial layers of the skin, between the dermis and the epidermis by means of a small, sterile, micro-needle, to create a lasting cosmetic effect, an illusion or enhancement where hair or color is missing , in eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner and color . These hypo-allergenic pigments are specifically designed for facial application, and contain no added fragrances or emollients.

Who Would Benefit From Permanent Makeup?
Many individuals choose permanent cosmetics because their natural color has faded or because they have physical difficulty applying regular, temporary makeup. For others, cosmetic tattooing is an adjunct to reconstructive surgery, particularly of the face or breast, or as a restoration of a natural and youthful color and shape..People who have lost their eyebrows due to  over tweezing or a medical form of hair loss, may choose to have "eyebrows" tattooed on, while people with vitiligo (a lack of pigmentation in areas of the skin) may use cosmetic tattooing to help camouflage the condition.
